Ve \u010dtvrtek 26. a p\u00e1tek 27. ledna 2017 se se\u0161li \u010dlenov\u00e9 konsorcia nov\u00e9ho evropsk\u00e9ho projektu s akronymem DataBio v pra\u017esk\u00e9m hotelu Galaxie. Jejich hlavn\u00edm c\u00edlem bylo za\u010d\u00edt \u0159e\u0161it a diskutovat evropsk\u00fd p\u0159\u00edstup k vyu\u017eit\u00ed Velk\u00fdch dat (anglicky Big Data) v zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed.<\/p>\n

\u010clenov\u00e9 konsorcia projektu jsou organizace nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d celou Evropou:

Jedn\u00e1n\u00ed bylo aktivitou nov\u00e9ho projektu s n\u00e1zvem Data-Driven Bioeconomy (DataBio). Projekt DataBio (grantov\u00e1 dohoda \u010d. 732064) je financov\u00e1n v r\u00e1mci presti\u017en\u00edho v\u011bdeck\u00e9ho programu Evropsk\u00e9 unie pro v\u00fdzkum a inovace Horizon 2020. Nov\u00fd projekt se zam\u011b\u0159uje na produkci nejkvalitn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch surovin v biohospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed (zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed, lesnictv\u00ed a rybolovu) tak, aby se potraviny, energie a dal\u0161\u00ed biomateri\u00e1ly vyr\u00e1b\u011bly s d\u016frazem na odpov\u011bdnost a udr\u017eitelnost. Zku\u0161enosti ze Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1t\u016f ukazuj\u00ed, \u017ee biohospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed a p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed m\u016f\u017ee z\u00edskat zna\u010dn\u00fd impulz s vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00edm Velk\u00fdch dat. V Evrop\u011b doposud tento sektor p\u0159il\u00e1kal pouze n\u011bkolik velk\u00fdch ICT firem. St\u0159edobodem projektu DataBio je zv\u00fd\u0161it zapojen\u00ed evropsk\u00e9ho ICT sektoru do v\u00fdvoje syst\u00e9m\u016f Velk\u00fdch dat k povzbuzen\u00ed zaost\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed produktivity biohospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed. <\/p>\n

Evropsk\u00fd program pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed Zem\u011b Copernicus ned\u00e1vno vypustil sv\u016fj t\u0159et\u00ed satelit Sentinel. Zna\u010dn\u00fd u\u017eitek z dat t\u00e9to dru\u017eice m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt pr\u00e1v\u011b zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed, lesnictv\u00ed a rybolov. V kone\u010dn\u00e9m d\u016fsledku projekt DataBio pom\u016f\u017ee evropsk\u00e9mu sektoru pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed Zem\u011b (Earth Observation) hr\u00e1t v t\u00e9to oblasti d\u016fle\u017eitou roli.
\nNa pra\u017esk\u00e9m m\u00edtinku byly diskutov\u00e1ny po\u017eadavky r\u016fzn\u00fdch pilotn\u00edch aplikac\u00ed v Evrop\u011b, dostupn\u00e9 n\u00e1stroje, vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00e9 metody \u010di ot\u00e1zky datov\u00e9ho modelov\u00e1n\u00ed. M\u00edtink by prvotn\u00edm setk\u00e1n\u00edm v r\u00e1mci pracovn\u00ed skupiny Zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed, kter\u00e1 je koordinov\u00e1na \u010deskou spole\u010dnost\u00ed Lesprojekt-slu\u017eby, s. r. o. Z\u00e1v\u011bry z tohoto m\u00edtinku budou d\u00e1le pou\u017eity v polovin\u011b \u00fanora na technick\u00e9m m\u00edtinku ve finsk\u00e9m Espoo. C\u00edlem technick\u00e9ho m\u00edtinku je definov\u00e1n\u00ed p\u0159\u00edstupu k Velk\u00fdm dat\u016fm do poloviny tohoto roku. \u010clenov\u00e9 konsorcia jsou p\u0159ipraveni na spolupr\u00e1ci s dal\u0161\u00edmi organizacemi nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d Evropou i mimo ni. <\/p>\n

Dozens of organisations met in Prague at Hotel Galaxie between Thursday 26 January and Friday 27 January 2017. The primary aim of the meeting was to initiate discussions on European approach towards Big Data in Agriculture between the following organisations:

Such work is a part of the Data Driven Bioeconomy (DataBio) project. The DataBio project has received funding from the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the grant agreement No 732064. The project focuses on achieving the best production of raw materials from agriculture, forestry and fishery for the bioeconomy industry to produce food, energy and biomaterials taking into account responsibility and sustainability. Experiences from the United States of America demonstrates that bioeconomy and specifically agriculture can get a significant boost from Big Data. In Europe, this sector has until now attracted only few large ICT vendors. The central goal of DataBio is to increase participation of European ICT industry in development of Big Data systems for boosting the lagging bioeconomy productivity. <\/p>\n

The European Copernicus space programme has currently launched its third Sentinel satellite. Agriculture, forestry and fishery can greatly benefit from Copernicus. Consequently, DataBio will assist also to European Earth Observation Industry to play an important role in agricultural area.
\nNeeds of different pilots in Europe, available tools, data and methods were discussed during the Prague meeting. The meeting was also a kick-off of Agriculture Work Package (of the DataBio project), which is coordinated by Lesprojekt slu\u017eby. Outputs from the kick-off meeting are going to be re-used in half of February during technical meeting in Espoo in Finland. The goal is to define the first draft of Big Data concept in Agriculture till the end of July. <\/p>\n
